About Leigh
 

Leigh is an imperfect working mom of two, married to Brian, and passionately leads Be Still Mama, an organization dedicated to making God's word understood and absorbed by weary, exhausted, overwhelmed and anxious moms.

Although Leigh has a Master of Fine Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and an Advanced Certificate in Women's Studies from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, she's a sinner who needs Jesus daily. Prior to forming Be Still Mama, Leigh was in marketing and events for churches and Christian radios for over 16 years. 

Leigh has been a guest contributor to various media outlets, most recently for Hope on Demand, but her sweet spot is in a living room full of transparent moms willing to throw it all out there, or sitting across the table from a mom drinking hot coffee in the winter and iced coffee in the summer.

Leigh is extremely vocal and passionate about her desire to see the competitive nature of women to one up each other be extinguished and for the rat race moms run with each other to come to a screeching halt. That level of freedom can only be found in Christ, and Christ is the center of Be Still Mama.
